Tight integration with our booking engine means that all the required cargo details, and special details (such as OOG, reefer, DG etc), as well as stowage requirements are delivered directly into the application. Bookings are automatically checked against the given allotment to avoid over-booking.

Our software makes life much easier for your capacity planner. An intuitive user-experience incorporating colour codes, easy drill downs and drag & drop ensures that maximum use is made of space with only a few clicks of the mouse.

We are delighted to welcome five new recruits into the Softship family to reinforce our consulting team and our customer support activities. Our new joiners are currently undergoing a comprehensive familiarisation programme which will equip them with a thorough grounding in the specifics of our applications as well as an intimate understanding of business processes and workflows.

Another four new team members are employed on a trainee and work-study basis which is a great way of assisting young people into employment whilst they further their academic education. We are pleased to be able to help the next generation of shipping professionals get a foot hold in our sector.

We are soon to open a new office in Miami and to prepare for that, our US representative, Florian Guhl has been joined by two new team members. Thomas Mahoney will be working as consultant assisting our customers in that region and he will work alongside Pablo Verez who will be responsible for applications support.

The first half of 2015 saw a much stronger financial position for us. H1 operating performance reached €3.834 million compared with €3.612 million in H1 2014. As a result, profit before tax was €0.23 million (€0.018 million, same period 2014).

Licence fee income reached €0.537 million (€0.232 million, same period 2014) which exceed the full 2014 year total of €0.485 million.

The result per share in this period is €0.12 compared with €0.01 in 2014.
